SEVEN SPRINGS -- New members of the Seven Springs Town Board will be sworn into office Jan. 11 at Town Hall.

Emma Ward and Peggy Jones will step down from the board next month and Rodolph Adams, Steven Potter and mayor Jewel Kilpatrick will begin new terms. Board members serve for four years. The mayor's term is two years.

Adams was re-elected in November to another term on the board.

Town Commissioner Peggy Jones did not seek re-election. Steven Potter, the top vote-getter in the November race, will take her seat.

Mrs. Ward vacated her seat last year to take over as mayor after Ms. Kilpatrick resigned.
