Guatemalan Consulate to visit area

MOUNT OLIVE -- The Guatemalan Consulate will visit the Mount Olive area on Dec. 3 and 4.
The consulate will be in the Murphy Center at Mount Olive College from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. both days and will provide services like expediting passports and issuing consular identification cards.
Costs and required documentation for the passport and consular ID are birth certificate, whether the original or a photocopy, and proof of residence such as any official receipt that shows your address in North Carolina. An $80 money order is the cost of the passport and the consular ID together. The passport alone is $65, and the consular ID alone is $30.00.
