Art Market open until Dec. 23

The Arts Council of Wayne County's Holiday Art Market has opened and will remain open through Friday, Dec. 23.
Hours will be 9 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, as well as during the following events:
*The opening reception for the Cotton Club Quilters, Sunday, Dec. 4, 1 until 3 p.m.;
*The opening reception for the Photo Shoot contest and competition, Friday, Dec. 9, 6 until 8 p.m., and
*The closing reception for Emily Holt's senior thesis show, Saturday, Dec. 10, 2 until 4 p.m.
Prices for artworks range from $6 to $650. Among the items for sale are jewelry, paintings, pottery, wood carvings and more.
