Trash collections are moved

Residential trash collection for Wayne County residents who are served by Waste Industries will be delayed one day this week because of the Labor Day holiday for residents whose regular pickup date is Monday through Thursday.
Friday pickups will continue on schedule.
Mount Olive residents also will see a one-day delay in their trash collection, Zarn carts should be pulled to the curb the night before collection.
The city of Goldsboro will observe Labor Day Monday, with all city offices closed.
All sanitation services scheduled for Monday will move to Wednesday.
The Goldsboro/Wayne Transportation Authority will operate on a holiday schedule Monday. The bus service will operate from 9:45 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. The van service will operate on its normal schedule.
