Archer-Yetsko
Anne Kathryn Archer and Daniel Kenneth Yetsko exchanged vows in a double ring ceremony Feb. 9 at 4 p.m. at Christ Community Church-Montreat in Montreat, N.C., with Dr. Richard White officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Janet Archer of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. John P. Archer Jr. of Darlington, Md., and the late Lawrence and Anne Chiconsky of Marquette, Mich.
She is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School and a graduate of Appalachian State University with a bachelor’s degree in Spanish. She is currently employed by Camp Merri-Mac for Girls as the camp’s associate director.
The groom is the son of Sheryl and Kenneth Yetsko of Marietta, Ga., and the grandson of Patsy Karp of Chesterton, Ind., George and Marge Yetsko of Hobart, Ind., and the Late Sam and Elaine Yetsko of Monticello, Ind.
He is a graduate of the University of Georgia, and is employed at Beacon Veterinary Hospital in Swannanoa, N.C.
The bride was escorted by her father and was given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a platinum lace gown with a natural waist embellished by a belt of satin and crystals.
She carried a hand-tied bouquet of ranunculus, succulents, seeded eucalyptus and antique white roses.
Sarah Hord, friend of the bride, was the maid of honor and Cara Archer, sister-in-law of the bride, was the matron of honor.
Jennifer Yetsko, sister of the groom, Katy Deckard, Marilyn Zapf and Haley Fulford served as the bridesmaids.
Alex Deckard was the groom’s best man.
Groomsmen were Kyle Ward, Chris Sears, Vikas Shah, Robert White, Jay Archer, brother of the bride, and Dennis Jewah, brother-in-law of the groom.
The groom’s nephews, Parker Jewah, Jake Jewah and Drew Jewah, served as ringbearers and signbearers.
A program of wedding music was provided by Will Long and Becky Swann. Brie Owens directed the wedding.
After a wedding trip to St. Lucia, the couple resides in Black Mountain, N.C.
The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at The Venue in Asheville.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower Nov. 24 hosted by Beth Bouchard and Cara Archer; a wedding shower for the couple Jan. 5 hosted by Sarah Hord and Marilyn Zapf at Pisgah Brewery in Black Mountain; a couples shower Jan. 19 hosted by Jennifer and Sheryl Yetsko; a bachelorette weekend in Boone, N.C.; and a bachelor weekend held in the North Georgia Mountains Jan. 26.
