Ka’Cia Tylette Peacock and Karlus Cornelius Artis, M.D., of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 8, 2012, at 5 p.m. at Myrtle Beach Marriott Resort and Spa at Grande Dunes in Myrtle Beach, S.C., with pastor Dale Hester and bishop Thurman McCuller officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Frederick Jr. and Betty Peacock of Goldsboro.
The groom is the son of Karl Sr. and Minnie Artis of Dudley
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Karletta Woodard served as matron of honor, while Dawne and Joi Peacock were maids of honor.
Bridesmaid was Marilyn McMurray.
Karl Artis Jr. served as best man.
Groomsmen were Gary Woodard, Gary Woodard II and Karlon Artis.
Ushers were Amir and Derion Peacock.
Maya Angel McMurray was flower girl.
Chase Neely was ringbearer.
Their wedding trip will be taken after the Christmas holidays, as it is still a surprise to the bride.
The couple resides in Rocky Mount.
