Marshall-Whaley
Alice Elizabeth Marshall of Goldsboro and Matthew Charles Whaley exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 1, 2012, at 1 p.m. at Park East Church of God, with Greg Nethercutt officiating.
The bride is the daughter of John and Debbie Marshall of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Ruby Marshall and the late George Marshall of Hemphill, W. Va., and Charles Norfolk and the late Maggie Norfolk of Dudley.
The groom is the son of Charles and Deborah Whaley of Grantham, the grandson of Mary Whaley and the late Edward Whaley of Clayton and Howard and Barbara Huff of Grantham and the great-grandson of Alida Weller of Dudley and the late John Weller of Dudley.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Stephanie Hicks was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Tiffany Baldwin, Sara Whaley and Abbey Whaley.
Ryan Bevell served as best man.
Groomsmen were Justin Whaley, Zack Whaley and Jake Jones.
Victoria Perry and Brianna Huff were flower girls.
Tammie Allsbrook directed the wedding.
