Susan Elizabeth Barefoot and James Dennis Hill Jr. exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 24 at Friendly Holiness Pentacostal Free Will Baptist in Mount Olive, with the Rev. Greg Moser and Kevin Haynes officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jonnie and Nancy Barefoot of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of the late John and Susan Barefoot and the late David and Pearl Lee.

She is a graduate of Pitt Community College and is employed as a settlements accountant at Gruma Corp.

The groom is the son of James Dennis Hill and the late Marcene Hill of Stantonsburg, the stepson of Peggy Hill and the grandson of the late James E. and

Minnie S. Hill of Stantonsburg.

He is a graduate of Mount Calvary Christian Academy and is employed as a setup technician at Bridgestone-Firestone in Wilson.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white A-line satin gown with layers of organza ruffles, crystal beading, scattered lace and sequins.

The bride carried a white rose bouquet designed by Melanie Franco.

Bridesmaids were Kristy Hallmark, Tabatha Hill, Holly Lutze, Lisa West and Christy and Kayla Johnson.

James Dennis Hill served as best man.

Groomsmen were John Barefoot, Bryan West, Jeremy Ervin, Matthew Lutze and Chuck Medlin.

Marcy Anne West was the flower girl, while Zachary Aman and Colby Ervin served as ringbearers.

Terri Ervin directed the wedding.

Wedding music was provided by Caroline Franco, pianist, and Tabatha Hill and Jamie Rawls, vocalists.

A reception followed the cermony.

After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple reside in Fremont.
