Jessica Rene Howell and Jeremy Scott Davis exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony March 17, 2012, at 5 p.m. at Mike’s Farm in Beulaville, with the Rev. Douglas Dexter officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Phil Howell Jr. and Vickie Herring Howell of Mount Olive and the granddaughter of the late Phil Howell and Bertha Lou Howell of Kinston and Mary Jane Herring.

She will graduate in August from North Carolina A&T with her master’s degree in agricultural economics.

The groom is the son of Kenneth Alan Davis and Rhonda Martin Davis of Grantham and the grandson of Anetta Lucas Davis of Snow Hill and the late George Clayton Davis of Goldsboro.

He graduated in 2011 from Wayne Commmunity College.

Christina Marie Santiago served as maid of honor, while April Tutor was matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Herring and Krystal Temple.

Kenneth Davis, father of the groom, served as best man. Groomsmen were Joseph Davis, Randy Temple Jr. and Phil Howell III.

Rozalyn Hill was flower girl. Jameson Davis was ringbearer.

A reception hosted by the bride’s parents consisting of a dinner at Mike’s farm with dancing.

A rehearsal dinner was given by Rhonda and Kenneth Davis at First Christian Church.

Events held before the wedding included a Jack and Jill shower given by Rhonda Davis, Krystal Temple, Beth Davis and Rebecca Temple. April Tutor held a Pampered Chef party in her home. The ladies of First Christian Church in Mount Olive held a miscellaneous shower. Christina Santiago, sister of the bride, gave a bachelorette party in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Mrs. Gail Johnson hosted a bridal luncheon at Lane Tree Country Club.
