Sally Brock Vernon of Dudley and Wilbert Alton Bass of Dudley exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at Faison Baptist Church, with the Rev. Paul Rose officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Norma Rush Brock and the late Herman Laston Brock of Faison.

She is a graduate of North Duplin High School. She is employed as a human resources manager at Crescent Foods Inc. of Mount Olive.

The groom is the son of the late Chester O. and Ruby Mason Bass of Pikeville.

He is retired as a truck driver with Bay Valley Foods Inc.

The bride was escorted by her brother, Gary R. Brock, and given in marriage by her family.

She wore an ivory silky satin tank-style slim A-line gown. The bodice featured a V-neck decorated with rhinestone, crystal beaded appliqué at the empire waist and ruching throughout the torso. The back of the gown had satin-covered buttons that flowed into a sweep train.

Her headpiece was a teardrop pearl tiara.

The bride carried an assortment of fall-colored flowers.

Ushers were Jerry Wayne Lee, nephew of the groom, and Brian Sellers, son-in-law of the bride.

Betty Sue Rose directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Stephanie C. Brock, sister-in-law of bride. Jake and Ryan Brock, nephews of the bride, distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Kay Grady, pianist; Randy Cashwell, vocalist; and Karen Pike, sound technician.

Following the ceremony, a dinner reception was held in the church fellowship hall. The couple greeted guests.

After their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Dudley.
