Kalyn Nicole Kennedy of Pikeville and Joseph John Walsh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 18 at 3:30 p.m. at Lane Tree Country Club, with Kevin Drake officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Brian J. Kennedy of Niantic, Conn., and Dianne W. Stafford of Pikeville and the granddaughter of Larry Perrigo and Beatriss Perrigo of Ballground, Ga., Gladys Worley and the late John Melvin Worley of Goldsboro and Mary Stafford.

She is employed as a waitress at Andys of Pikeville.

The groom is the son of John Joseph Walsh III and Jacquie Walsh of Goldsboro and the grandson of Catherine Walsh of Trenton, N.J., the late John Joseph Walsh Jr. of Philadelphia, Pa., Hale and Pat Dingman of Cherry Valley, N.Y., and Yvonne Hoyer and the late Connie Hoyer of Fort Plain, N.Y.

He is employed as a tire manufacturer at Bridgestone Tire Plant in Wilson.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father and stepfather.

She wore a strapless A-line white satin ballgown dress with a white beaded sash accentuating the train.

Shelly Gott was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Sarah Bailey, Stephanie Walsh and Harleigh Stafford.

John J. Walsh was best man.

Groomsmen were Mike Dale, Josh Rodriguez, Lee Green and Josh Phillips.

Ana Marie Rodriguez was flower girl. Kaiden Walsh was ringbearer.

A program of wedding music was provided by Thomas Vick, DJ.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Lane Tree Country Club.

The couple took a wedding trip to Virginia Beach, Va.

A rehearsal dinner was held June 17 at La Paz.
