Patricia “Pat” Person of Fremont and Anthony “Tony” Matthews of Pikeville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 17 at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, with the Rev. Gary Bailey officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the late Marvin and Thelma Caruthers.
The groom is the son of the late William Henry Matthews and the late Ruby Hooks Thornton.
Ruth Hoffman of Kinston was her sister’s matron of honor.
Jason Matthews of Gray Court, S.C., was his father’s best man.
