Jordan Elizabeth Kelly and Clint Bradley Bland exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 2 at 3 p.m. at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist in Mount Olive, with Pastor Robert Ellis officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Michael Wayne and Beverly Keene Kelly of Faison and the granddaughter of Fay Padgett Kelly and the late Joe Sam Kelly of Faison and Betty Sutton Keene and the late Delma Ray Keene of Mount Olive.

She is a 2009 graduate of North Duplin High School, and attends Wayne Community College for a degree in medical assisting.

The groom is the son of William Tim Bland and Elizabeth Carr Bland of Mount Olive and the grandson of Marie Kennedy and the late Isham Ray Bland of Faison and the late James Robert Carr and Mary Ruth Carr of Mount Olive.

He is a 2008 graduate of North Duplin High School and attended Wayne Community College for simulation and game development. He is serving in the United States Army military police regiment as a private first class.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a strapless white gown of royal satin with lace embroidered on the top lining. The fitted bodice featured a tuck of silk at the waist-line and flowed into a full A-line skirt with a chapel-length train accented with sequins and lace at the lining.

Her headpiece was a chapel-length veil and a Swarovski crystal tiara.

The bride carried a bouquet of orange tiger lilies and hibiscus accented with blue feathers, white pearls tied with a blue and white ribbon.

Kellie Best was her friend’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Della Kelly, sister of the bride, and Kelly Herring, friend of the bride.

William Tim Bland was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Ryan Parrish, nephew of the groom, and Ben Parrish, brother-in-law of the groom.

Ushers were Cody Best, nephew of the groom, and Joseph Kelly, cousin of the bride.

Jill Kelly, aunt of the bride, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register and distributing programs was Morgan Best, friend of the bride.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s family hosted a reception at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church.

After their wedding trip to Topsail Island, the couple will reside in Fort Wainwright, Alaska.

Events held before the wedding included a gift/gift card shower June 26 at Bear Marsh Missionary Baptist Church hosted by the youth group.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner July 1 at Bear Marsh Baptist Missionary Church.
