Martina Zamora of Princeton and Bryan Hallstead of Princeton exchanged vows in an outdoor double-ring ceremony May 22 at 1 p.m. at The Gurley House and Titia’s Gardens in Princeton, with the Rev. Michael Hamm officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Jose and Maria Zamora of Goldsboro.

She is a 2000 graduate of Southern Wayne High School. She is employed by Comfort Suites in Smithfield.

The groom is the son of Richard and Fredette Hallstead of Auburn, Calif.

He is a 2003 graduate of Oakmont High School. He is employed by ColorTyme of Goldsboro.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal gown with a classic satin tank-style bodice featuring a deep scoop neckline and a dropped Basque waistline. The bodice was embroidered and encrusted with pearls and rock crystals and had satin-covered buttons down the back of the A-line princess skirt finished with a chapel-length train.

Her headpiece was a tiara of crystals and pearls with a fingertip veil of silk illusion .

The bride carried a handtied bouquet of white miniature callas, roses, stock and stephanotis with an accent of blue hydrangeas adorned with pearl pins.

Lupe Zamora was her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Heather Farmer, Leah Melrose and Kelly Holmes, friends of the couple.

Buddy Farmer was the best man.

Groomsmen were Alan Hanner and Sammy Ennis, friends of the groom, and Martin Zamora, brother of the bride.

Abbey Farmer was flower girl. Tye and Justin Zamora, nephews of the bride, were ringbearers.

Norma Crooker directed the wedding.

Special Helpers were Wendy Pittman, Autumn Pittman and Justin Smith, friends of the couple.

A program of wedding music was provided by Mike “Shag Daddy” Overman.

After their wedding trip to New England, the couple will reside in Princeton.

Stephen and Norma Crooker hosted a rehearsal dinner May 21 at The Gurley House and Titia’s Gardens.
