Mary Ellen Smith of Princeton and Eric Christopher Hulin of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony April 2 at 4 p.m. at Knot’s Landing in Ocean Isle Beach, with Pastor Mitchell Livingston officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Tony and LouEllen Smith of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of the late Jake and Aileen Smith of Saulston and the late William Andrew and Ellen Mae Smith of Goldsboro.

She is a 2003 and 2010 graduate of East Carolina University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in instructional technology. She is employed as a technology facilitator with Johnston County Schools.

The groom is the son of Jim and Lynn Hulin of Linwood and the grandson of the late Foy and Marie Latham of Welcome and Reba Shoaf and the late Hollis Wade Shoaf of Salisbury.

He is a 2005 graduate of Campbell University School of Pharmacy with a doctor of pharmacy degree. He is employed as a consultant pharmacist at United Pharmacy Services in Durham.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a white chiffon A-line gown with a side-draped beaded bodice, a lace up back and a sweep train.

Her headpiece was a mid-length veil edged with crystals.

The bride carried a bouquet of pink roses.

Jennifer Weddle and Mandy Saulsbury were matrons of honor.

Bridesmaids were Laura Gorman and Mackenzie Smith.

Jim Hulin was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Tony Allen Smith and Neal Gorman.

Brittany Adams-O’Neil directed the wedding.

After their wedding trip to Hawaii, the couple will reside in Princeton.
