Allison Kaye Jones and David C. Taylor Jr. of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Dec. 11 at 4 p.m. at Walnut Creek Country Club, with Al Thompson officiating.

The bride is the daughter of William J. Jones and Linda H. Boyle of Goldsboro, the stepdaughter of William J. Boyle and Cindy Jones, the granddaughter of William A. Jones and Jack and Marie Hart of Goldsboro and the late Alice Jones of Snow Hill and the stepgranddaughter of the late Della Jones.

She graduated from Rosewood High School in 2003 and Wayne Community College in 2009 with an associate degree in medical assisting. She is employed as a certified medical assistant at Family Medicine and Rehab Center.

The groom is the son of David C. Taylor Sr. and Phillis J. Nelson of Raeford, the stepson of Tommy G. Nelson and the grandson of Sandra White of Raeford.

He attended Hoke County High School and Wayne Community College. He is employed as an electrician at Power Source Electric Inc.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal gown of satin with a side-draped A-line with beaded metallic embroidered lace, a lace-up back and a split back with lace appliqués to the chapel-length train. The gown had beading and embroidery.

Her headpiece was a pearl and rhinestone appliquéd comb and a white marrow-edged veil accented with white pearls throughout.

The bride carried a clutch bouquet of Virginia roses, white miniature callas, white dendrobium orchids and silver accents with silver stone sprays and stems wrapped with silver ribbon.

Jennifer Perkins was her sister’s matron of honor, while Sarah Boyle was her sister’s maid of honor.

Ashley Welborn, friend of the bride, was the bridesmaid.

Tomi Lachbrunner was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Lee Perkins, brother-in-law of the bride, and Allen Gautier, friend of the groom.

Laura A. Stefanut, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Brady L. Perkins, nephew of the bride, was ringbearer.

A program of wedding music was provided by David Brinkley, deejay.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.

After their wedding trip to Myrtle beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Goldsboro.

Events held before the wedding included a bachelorette part Dec. 4 hosted by the bridesmaids; a bachelor party Dec. 4 hosted by the groomsmen; a lingerie shower Nov. 5 at the home of the bride’s sister hosted by her sister; and an engagement cookout Oct. 16 at the home of the bride’s father hosted by the couple’s parents.
