Jennifer Leigh Morris and Ryan Michael Finnegan of Holly Springs exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. at The Umstead Hotel and Spa in Cary, with the Rev. Henry Fields, great-uncle of the bride, officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Albert Leland “Lee” Morris III and Donna Herring Morris of Raleigh and the granddaughter of Albert L. and Elmo Morris of Raleigh and Joe and Peggy Herring of Mount Olive.

She graduated from Ravenscroft School in Raleigh and attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is employed as a sales assistant at Northwestern Mutual Financial Network in Raleigh.

The groom is the son of Michael John and Laurie Finnegan of Indian Harbour Beach, Fla., and the grandson of Michael G. and Gloria Rogers of Peacedale, R.I.

He is a graduate of Elon University. He is employed as a technical recruiter with Insight Global of Atlanta, Ga., and Raleigh.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a hand-painted silk gown accented with a silk sash and tied with a vintage crystal broach.

The bride carried a teardrop bouquet of white hydrangeas, Picasso calla lilies, ivory roses and phalaenopsis orchids.

Natalie Morris of Raleigh was her sister’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Meghan Finnegan of Ronkonkoma N.Y., sister of the groom; Megan Hazzard of Richmond Va., cousin of the bride; and Kelly Kavcsak of Washington, D.C.

Craig Porter of Raleigh was best man.

Groomsmen were Thomas Maier of Winston-Salem, Nick Zulkofske of Setauket, N.Y., and Michael Gross of Chapel Hill.

A program of wedding music was provided by Arioso Strings of Raleigh.

The bride’s parents hosted a dinner and dance reception dinner at The Umstead.

After their wedding trip to St. John, Virgin Islands, the couple will reside in Holly Springs.

Events held before the wedding included parties hosted by co-workers of the couple and friends of the bride’s parents and a bridesmaids’ luncheon hosted by Mary Beth Copeland, Pat Herring and Cathy Morris of Raleigh, aunts of the bride.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Maggiano’s Little Italy at the Streets of Southpoint in Durham.
