Robbins - McFatter
Stephanie Blair McFatter of Wilson and Brian Anthony Robbins of Elm City exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Sept. 11 at 2 p.m. at Unity Free Will Baptist Church in Wilson, with the Rev. James Ellenburg and the Rev. Tim McFatter officiating.
The bride is the daughter of the Rev. Tim McFatter of Wilson and Robin Waters of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Ralph and Janie McFatter, John Waters, Laverne Waters and the late Faye Waters of Goldsboro.
She graduated from homeschool in 2003 and McDowell Technical Community College in 2005. She is employed as a licensed practical nurse at Tarboro Clinic.
The groom is the son of Larry Robbins of Elm City and Sandra Robbins of Lucama and the grandson of Eddie Graham and Mildred Robbins of Elm City and Lois Murray and the late Henry Murray of Lucama.
He graduated from Beddingfield High School in 2000. He is employed as a transportation worker with the North Carolina Department of Transportation.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a strapless white satin pick-up ball-gown with a watermelon cuff neckline, a watermelon lace-up back and a sweep train.
Her headpiece was a tiara of pearls and diamonds with an elbow-length veil trimmed in watermelon.
The bride carried a bouquet with a yellow sunflower accented with pink, green and white Gerber daisies.
Whitney McFatter was her sister’s maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Megan Gay, Karen Holland and Beverly Efird, friends of the bride.
Wayne Robbins was his cousin’s best man.
Groomsmen were Matt Saulter, Kevin Gardner and Robbie Woodard, friends of the groom.
Allison Holland was flower girl. Addison Holland was ringbearer.
Pat Ellenburg directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Emily Bailey. Heather Waters distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Lorie Pittman, pianist.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s mother hosted a reception.
After their wedding trip to Nags Head, the couple will reside in Macclesfield.
The groom’s mother hosted a rehearsal dinner.
