LAGRANGE — Jessica Brooke Gray and Roy Lee Taylor II exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 22 at 5 p.m. at CRG Farms, with Samuel Pope officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Joe and Julia Gray Gay of LaGrange and the granddaughter of the late Joe and Eleanor Gay of Snow Hill and Mildred Gray and the late Robert Gray of LaGrange.

She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington in 2001 with bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and history with a minor in Latin American studies. She is employed as an EMT-paramedic with Duplin County Emergency Services.

The groom is the son of Roy Lee and Caroline Jones Taylor of Calypso

He graduated from James Sprunt Community College in 2004 with a basic law enforcement training certification. He is employed as a deputy sheriff with Duplin County Sheriff’s Office.

The bride was escorted by her father and daughter and was given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a floor-length strapless ivory gown embroidered with clear and pink crystals in a flower pattern that extended throughout the train.

Her headpiece was a elbow-length veil that was adorned with crystals.

Lisa Dunson and Lisa Heinzen, friends of the bride, were bridesmaids.

Groomsmen were Jeffrey Cooke, cousin of the groom, and William Casey, friend of the groom.

Ainsley Gray, daughter of the bride, was flower girl.

Following the ceremony, Randy and Pam Gray, cousins of the bride hosted a reception and dance at CRG Farms.

After their wedding trip to Italy, Spain and France, the couple will reside in Calypso.

Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower April 25 hosted by family and friends of bride.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner May 21 at CRG Farms.
