Mrs. Ash

Stephanie Nichole Stroud and Steven Ash of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 24 at 11:30 a.m. at Waynesboro Park, with the Rev. Benny Smith officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Steven and Gail Stroud of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Jean O. Stroud, the late Albert E Stroud, Linwood E. Ham and Louise Ham of Goldsboro.

She graduated from Faith Christian Academy.

The groom is the son of Byron and Kathy Ash of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Gorden Ash and Melba Maxey of Lake Charles, La., Mary Winstanley of Warner Robin, Ga., and the late Ray Winstanley of New York, N.Y.

He graduated from Rosewood High School.

The bride was escorted and given in marriage by her father.

David Stroud and Brandon Ash distributed programs. Joshua Ash directed traffic.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the Hatch house at historical Waynesborough Park.

After their wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
