Mrs. Paramore

Jennifer Beth Haas of Greenville, S.C., and Michael Edward Paramore Jr. of Greenville exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 5 at 6 p.m. at Faith Free Will Baptist Church, with Dr. Dann Patrick and the Rev. Tim Rabon officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Dr. Joe and Janet Haas of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Dr. Joe R. Haas Sr. and Barbara Haas of Goldsboro and the Rev. Jack L. and Billie Rollins of Birmingham, Ala.

She is a 2004 graduate of Faith Christian Academy, a 2006 graduate of Southeastern Free Will Baptist College in Wendell, a 2008 graduate of Wayne Community College with an associate degree in nursing and a 2010 graduate of Liberty University in Virginia with a BSN. She is employed as a registered nurse at Greenville Memorial Hospital in Greenville, S.C.

The groom is the son of Dr. Mike and Joan Paramore of Raleigh and the grandson of Dr. David E. Paramore and the late Margie Reel Paramore of Kinston and Dorothy H. Dalton and the late Robert E. Dalton of North Augusta, S.C.

He is a 2001 graduate of Raleigh Christian Academy, a 2005 graduate of Southeastern Free Will Baptist College in Wendell and a 2007 graduate of Bob Jones University in South Carolina with a master’s degree. He is employed as a sales representative at Missionsports Inc.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a formal white gown of silk taffeta adorned with pearls, crystals and beaded accents on Alencon lace. The fitted gown flowed into a cathedral train adorned with pearls and Swarovski crystals.

Her headpiece was a white double-tiered finger-tip veil trimmed with a border of pearls and Swarovski crystals.

The bride carried a hand-tied bouquet of green hydrangeas and white miniature callas accented with green hypercurium berries and pearls.

Julie Scott was her sister’s matron of honor.

Bridesmaids were Fran Dillard and Hannah Haggard of Gastonia, Ashley Ray of Ball Ground, Ga., Blaire Sloan of Newcastle, England, and Lauren Kimbrell of New Bern, friends of the bride; Christin Fingleton of Virginia Beach, Va., sister of the groom; and Ashly Haas and Melissa Haas of Goldsboro, sisters-in-law of the bride.

Jackie Fingleton of Virginia Beach was his brother-in-law’s best man.

Groomsmen were Jonathan Ange of Farmville, Ben Barnard of Raleigh, Raymond Coble of Charleston, S.C., Stephen Kimbrell of New Bern and Keith Rogers of Garner, friends of the groom; Jason Haas and Jonathan Haas of Goldsboro, brothers of the bride; and Myron Scott of Goldsboro, brother-in-law of the bride.

Emilee Davis and Alyssa Davis of Goldsboro, cousins of the bride, were junior bridesmaids.

Landrey Elizabeth Haas, niece of the bride, was the miniature bride. Pierson Reese Scott, nephew of the bride, was the miniature groom.

Ethan Fingleton of Virginia Beach, nephew of the groom, and Evan Scott of Goldsboro, nephew of the bride, were ringbearers, escorted by the junior bridesmaids.

Paula Jones directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Tammy Floars. Lindsay Ange distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by Susan Denton of Goldsboro, pianist, and Kevin Denton, Jason Haas and Amber Winders of Goldsboro, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents hosted a dinner reception in the church reception hall. Joe and Judy DePalantino and Mike and Karen Woodard greeted guests. Della Stocks and Joyce Corbett served the four-tiered wedding cake.

After their wedding trip to Montego Bay, Jamaica, the couple will reside in Greenville.

Events held before the wedding included a miscellaneous wedding shower March 21 hosted by friends at Beacon Baptist Church of Raleigh; a miscellaneous wedding shower April 8 hosted by friends at Faith Free Will Baptist Church of Goldsboro; a weekend bachelorette trip to New York City May 14 hosted by the matron of honor and bridesmaids; a bachelor fishing trip weekend May 28 at Lake Gaston hosted by friends; and a lingerie shower at the home of Ashly Haas, sister-in-law of the bride, hosted by Ms. Haas, Julie Scott, sister of the bride, and Lauren Kimbrell, friend of the bride.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner in the church fellowship hall.
