ST. CLAIRSVILLE, Ohio — Sarah Lewis Murphy of Raleigh and Hunter Brandon Lane of Raleigh exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony May 22 at 4:30 p.m. at Calvary Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Homer Harden officiating.

The bride is the daughter of David George and Nancy Lewis Murphy of St. Clairsville and the granddaughter of Marjorie Murphy, the late Raymond Murphy and Charles and Barbara Lewis of St. Clairsville.

She is a 2002 graduate of St. Clairsville High School, a 2006 graduate of Elon University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a 2007 graduate of North Carolina State University with a master of accounting degree. She is employed as a certified public accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers in Raleigh.

The groom is the son of Willis “Chuck” Everette Lane and Debra Creech Lane of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Willis and Miriam Lane of Goldsboro and the late James and Sarah Creech of Smithfield.

He is a 2002 graduate of Princeton High School and a 2006 and 2007 graduate of North Carolina State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting and a Master of Accounting degree. He is employed as a tax senior associate at Deloitte.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a ballgown of ivory silk satin. The strapless gown featured a draped drop waist bodice and a box pleated ball skirt finished with a chapel-length train. A latte double-faced satin sash was tied with a bow at the waist and adorned with a Swarovski crystal and pearl broach.

Her headpiece was a tulle tucked and layered elbow-length veil.

The bride carried a hand-held bouquet of pale pink Faith roses, lilac Ocean Song roses, ivory Amelia roses, pale pink and white stock with sweet pea. It was finished with satin ribbon and a single line of pearls.

Dana Murphy and Megan Murphy were maids of honor.

Bridesmaids were Casey Baughman, Kimberly Fowler, Meghan Gasmovic, Ashley Krieger, Ashley Kristiansen, Taylor Tyndall Elizabeth Younger.

Tyler Braswell and Taylor Lane were best men.

Groomsmen were Brett Cato, Darren Hendrix, Nicolas Mayle, Robert Phillips and Steve Sherck.

Payton Hughes, Claire Nash, Emily Nash and Rachel Nash distributed programs.

A program of wedding music was provided by a four string quartet.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Glessner Auditorium at Oglebay Resort.

After their wedding trip to Belize, the couple will reside in Raleigh.

Events held before the wedding included several showers in North Carolina and Ohio hosted by family and friends.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Levenson Shelter at Oglebay Resort.
