WRIGHTSVILLE BEACH — Melissa Ann Jordan of Wilmington and Jason Marella of Wilmington exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 7 at 1 p.m., with Andrew Barnhill officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Dennis Whitfield and Margaret Williams Jordan of Fremont and the granddaughter of the late Talmadge Whitfield and Hazel Tedder Jordan of Fremont and the late Robert Hall and Nellie deKeyzer Williams of Roanoke Rapids.
The groom is the son of Dennis Marella of Strongsville, Ohio, and Mary Lou Barker of Wilmington.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
Nichole Taylor was maid of honor.
Bridesmaids were Robin Marella and Jennifer Duskie.
Tim Marella was the best man.
Groomsmen were Chris Leinhopp and Mark Ainsley.
Ushers were Matt Farris and Dan Farris.
Savanah Marella was the flower girl. Zackary Whitfield Jordan was the ringbearer.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jeff Barnhill, vocalist.
After their wedding trip to Charleston, S.C., the couple will reside in Wilmington.
