Kalyn Amanda Lecuivre of LaGrange and Dennis William Mimitz of Goldsboro exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Nov. 7 at 2 p.m. at the Seymour Johnson Air Force Base Chapel, with the Rev. Janice Fucili officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Robert M. Lecuivre and Kim T. Lecuivre of LaGrange and the granddaughter of Deanna M. Lecuivre McGarvey and the late Robert E Lecuivre of Enfield, Conn., and Rodger Handy and Rita Calvert Plemmons of Myrtle Beach, S.C.

She is a graduate of Eastern Wayne High School. She is serving in the United States Air Force.

The groom is the son of Dennis William and Wendy Lou Mimitz of Plainfield, Mass., and the grandson of Robert Mimitz and the late Helen Mimitz of Northhampton, Mass., and Howard and Donna Hudson of Plainfield, Mass.

He is a graduate of Smith Vocational and Agricultural High School in Massachusetts. He served in the United States Marine Corps.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a strapless white gown with a crystal beaded bodice.

Her headpiece was an elbow-length single veil.

The brides carried a cascade bouquet of red roses, white lilies and orchids.

Kim Lecuivre was her daughter’s matron of honor, while Caitlyn “Furgy” Furgeson was maid of honor.

Dennis Mimitz was his son’s best man.

Rodger Lecuivre, brother of the bride, was the groomsman.

Jessie Mae Parrot, cousin of the bride, was flower girl. Kyle Parrott and Cole Clark, cousins of the bride, were ringbearers.

Special helpers were Janet Turnage and Amy Zielinski.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at LaGrange Garden Club.

After their wedding trip to Ocean Isle Beach and Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple will reside in Goldsboro.
