Chelsey Nichole Howell and Kevin Scott Holloman exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 26 at 5 p.m. at Providence United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Vernon Brown officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Leamon Edward Howell III of Goldsboro and Vista McSwain Nelson of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of Leamon Edward “Ed” Howell II and Barbara “Bobbie” Howell of Goldsboro and the late Grover B. and Jaqueline “Jackie” McSwain of Albemarle.

She graduated from Gaston College with an associate degree in emergency medical science and attends Wayne Community College’s nursing program. She is employed as a paramedic at Duplin County EMS and a certified intensive care provider.

The groom is the son of Kenneth Ray and Nancy Brenda Holloman of Goldsboro and the grandson of the late Willie M. and Mary M. Holloman of Calypso and Creola E. Parrish and the late John R. Parrish of Goldsboro.

He graduated from Wayne Community College with an associate degree in information systems. He is employed as a route driver at R.A. Jeffreys.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

She wore a beaded lace trumpet-silhouette gown with a chapel train, illusion halter neckline and pool blue sash.

Her headpiece was a silver brushed metallic leaf tiara with pearl and rhinestone embellishments with a white two-tiered elbow-length veil with beaded scalloped edge and crystal flowers.

The bride carried a clutch bouquet of white calla lilies, hot pink and white stargazers, pink Gerber daisies, stephanotis and greenery.

Brandy Turner was her friend’s maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kim Bunche, sister of the groom, and Jennifer Lancaster, friend of the bride.

Kenneth Ray Holloman was his son’s best man.

Groomsmen were Shannon Alexander, friend of the groom, and Chad Holloman, nephew of the groom.

Ushers were Tim Daniels and Jason Farmer, friends of the groom.

Kylie Bunche, niece of the groom, was the junior bridesmaid.

Anna Stover, daughter of the groom, was flower girl. Kyler Howell, son of the bride, was ringbearer.

Teresa Smith directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Brandi Holloman. Debbie Whaley was coordinator.

A program of wedding music was provided by Brandi Holloman, vocalist, and Matt Farmer, sound specialist.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Walnut Creek Country Club.

After a wedding trip to Orlando, Fla., the couple reside in Mar-Mac.

Events held before the wedding included a wedding shower at Providence Church hosted by women of the groom’s family.

A rehearsal dinner was held at Hibachi Grill.
