Lane - Pittman
Susan C Pittman of LaGrange and Tony Lee Lane of Stanstonburg exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony July 27 at 2:15 p.m. at 207 E. Chestnut St., with Mack Eason officiating.
The bride is the daughter of Elmer Lee and Elizabeth Ann Pittman of Wilson and the granddaughter of the late Charlie Benjamin and Maggie W. Pittman and the late Charles Franklin Barron of Wilson and Margaret L. Wharton of Black Creek.
She graduated from Macomb High School in Oklahoma. She attended Wayne Community College and East Carolina University. She is employed as a health record specialist 2 at Lenoir Memorial Hospital.
The groom is the son of Edward Earl Lane of Wilson and Ruth A. Barnes of Fountain and the grandson of the late Albert and Maebelle Lane of Wilson and the late Alton Grimes and Rosalee Grimes of Stantonsburg.
He graduated from Beddingfield High School. He is retired from the Air Force. He is employed as a certified air conditioning systems mechanic at Therma King of Wilson.
A.J. Lane was ringbearer.
After a wedding trip to Atlantic Beach, the couple reside in LaGrange.
