Virginia Myers Craig and Paul Daniel Haagenson of Stafford, Va., exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony Aug. 2 at 5:30 p.m. at Stoney Creek Free Will Baptist Church, with Pastor Gary Bailey officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Walter and Rebecca Craig of Goldsboro and the granddaughter of George Craig Jr. and Jane Craig of Winchester, Va., and Jane Dunmire and the late Arthur Dunmire of Grove City, Pa.

She is a graduate of Hickory High School and Asbury College in Kentucky.

The groom is the son of Daniel and Shelly Haagenson of Minneapolis, Minn., and the grandson of Margaret Haagenson and the late Donald Haagenson of Minneapolis and William and Joyce Hetrick of Belleville, Mich.

He is a graduate of Minnehaha Academy in Minnesota and the U.S. Naval Academy. He is employed as an instructor at Quantico Marine Base.

The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.

Stephanie Craig Greever was her sister’s matron of honor, while Meredith Craig, sister of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Kate Haagenson and Lillie Haagenson, sisters of the groom.

Timothy Haagenson was his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Andrew Haagenson, brother of the groom, and Brian Booth and Captain Charles Nash, friends of the groom.

Andrea Craddock, friend of the bride, directed the wedding.

A program of wedding music was provided by Alice Campbell, pianist, and the groom’s brothers and Kate and Lilly Haagenson, sisters of the groom, vocalists.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parent.

After a wedding trip to Jamaica, the couple reside in Stafford.

Events held before the wedding included a lingerie shower Aug. 1 in Goldsboro hosted by friends of the bride and a miscellaneous shower in May at Grace Christian School in Raleigh hosted by co-workers of the bride.

The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at the home of the bride.
