Wiggins-Breedlove
NASHVILLE — Jamie Renee Breedlove and John Patrick Wiggins of Dallas exchanged vows in a double-ring ceremony June 16 at 3 p.m. at Rock Creek Baptist Church, with the Rev. David Pope officiating.
The bride is the daughter of James W. and Pamela H. Breedlove of Rocky Mount and the granddaughter of Barbara Breedlove and the late James C. Breedlove of Goldsboro and Marvin Holland and the late Bobbie Holland of Newton Grove.
She graduated from Northern Nash High School and Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science.
The groom is the son of Jerry Wiggins of West Palm Beach, Fla., and Margaret McCombs of Dallas and the grandson of the late Arthur John and Sarah Wiggins and Bill and Barbara Brooks of Gastonia.
He graduated from North Gaston High School and with honors from Appalachian State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in computer science. He is employed as a software technician at Red Hat of Raleigh.
The bride was escorted by her father and given in marriage by her parents.
She wore a gown of ivory with champagne accents.
Her headpiece was a tiara and shoulder-length veil with champagne ribbon.
She carried a bouquet of roses.
Brandi Mortimer was maid of honor.
Rebecca Whiter was the bridesmaid.
Lucas Young was best man.
Jedidiah Bowers was the groomsman.
Ushers were Matthew Thornton and Daniel Quinn.
Cindy Brantley directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Alice Breedlove. Elizabeth Breedlove and Brent Breedlove distributed programs.
Gina McCombs and Kerry Brantley distributed rice.
A program of wedding music was provided by Sylvia Sutter and Bob Sutter, organist.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the church.
After a wedding trip to Emerald Isle, the couple reside in Raleigh.
Events held before the wedding included a bridal shower June 9 hosted by Margaret McCombs and family; a bridal shower June 3 hosted by Jenifer Lewis and ladies of Rock Creek Baptist; and a bridal shower June 2 hosted by Cindy Brantley and Denise Helms.
