MOUNT OLIVE — LaShawn Denise’ Holloway of Smithfield became the bride of Steven Jasper Mitchener of Smithfield May 6 at 2 p.m.
Elder Kennie Jones and the Rev. Argo Matthews officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Stanley Chapel Free Will Baptist Church.
Charlie and Shirley Holloway of Mount Olive are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of David and Louise Peele of Mount Olive and Willie and Carrie Simmons of Washington D.C.
The groom is the son of Jasper and Bertha Mitchener of Selma. He is the grandson of the late Cornelius and Ida Badger of Smithfield and Beatrice and Tyrena Mitchener of Wilson Mills.
The couple is residing in Smithfield.
