RIVIERA MAYA, Mexico — Lucy Darlene Smith and David Angus Carter Jr. exchanged wedding vows June 21 at 4 p.m.
Miguel Mario Sala officiated at the oceanside ceremony at Adventura Spa Palace Resort.
Mr. and Mrs. Donald Allen Smith of Mount Olive are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward Guy Kilpatrick, the late Eula Mae Kilpatrick and the late Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Allen Smith.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. David Angus Carter Sr. of Washington. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Edward Toler and the late Mr. and Mrs. William Baker Carter Sr.
After a wedding trip, the couple is residing in La-Grange.
