Horne-West
CARY — Mary Susan West and James David Horne were united in marriage May 14 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Mike Eddinger officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Page-Walker Hotel.
Parents of the bride are Helen Parker West and the late Parker West of Cary.
The groom is the son of Margaret Howell Horne and the late John Kenneth Horne Sr. of Goldsboro.
The bride was escorted by her nephew, Douglas Bret Sutton Jr.
Maggie Siskind, friend of the bride, was maid of honor.
Jason Horne was his father’s best man.
A program of wedding music was provided by Linda Young.
After a wedding trip to Myrtle Beach, S.C., the couple is residing in Cary.
The bride is a graduate of Campbell Universith with a bachelor of science degree in elementary education. She is employed as a legislative assistant at the North Carolina General Assembly.
The groom graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a a bachelor’s degree and the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with a master’s degree. He is employed as a certified public accountant and Air Force auditor at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held.
