Ashly Vaughn Jones of Clayton and Jason Scott Haas exchanged promises June 18 at 2 p.m.
The Rev. Dann Patrick officiated at the double-ring ceremony at Faith Free Will Baptist Church.
Douglas and Lorrine Mosley of Clayton are parents of the bride. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Adkins of Loxahatchee, Fla.
Parents of the groom are Joe and Jan Haas. He is the grandson of the Rev. and Mrs. Joe Haas Sr. of Goldsboro and the Rev. and Mrs. Jack Rollins of Birmingham, Ala.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white silk A-line gown. The portrait neckline and rhinestone beading accented the bodice of the gown. Covered buttons and inverted pleats cascaded through to the cathedral-length train.
For her headpiece, she chose a white cathedral sparkle veil embellished with a Swarovski crystal comb. She carried a bouquet of stargazer lilies, freesia, bells of Ireland and lily of the valley.
Julie Scott of Pikeville, sister of the groom, was matron of honor. Jennifer Haas of Goldsboro, sister of the groom, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Melissa Haas of Pikeville, sister-in-law of the bride, and Carmen Anderson and Jenny Stevens of Pine Level, friends of the bride.
Joe Haas was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Jonathan Haas of Goldsboro, brother of the groom; Heath Ferguson of Amory, Miss., and Lange Patrick of Jacksonville, Fla., friends of the groom; and Ronald Davis of Wendell, uncle of the groom. Ushers were Taylor Mosley of Clayton, brother of the bride; Myron Scott of Pikeville, brother-in-law of the groom; and Russell Wade of Pikeville, friend of the groom.
Flower girls were Janie Mosley of Clayton, sister of the bride; Emilee Davis and Alyssa Davis of Wendell, Cassidy Toepfer and Harper Toepfer of Loxahatchee, Fla., Elizabeth Westphal of Boca Raton, Fla., and Sarah Adkins of Kipling, cousins of the bride; and Brittany Jacobs and Brooke Jacobs of Jupiter Farms, Fla., and Meredith Clark and Madeline Clark of Goldsboro, friends of the couple.
Sue Floars of Goldsboro, friend of the couple, directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Connie Pender of Goldsboro, friend of the couple. Amy Baumgartner of Princeton, friend of the couple, distributed programs.
A program of wedding music was provided by Jamie Patrick of Jacksonville, Fla., friend of the couple, pianist and keyboardist; David Miles of Florence, S.C., cousin of the groom, violinist; Daniel Miles, of Myrtle Beach, S.C., cousin of the groom, guitarist; Lange and Jamie Patrick, of Jacksonville, Fla., and Kevin Denton of Goldsboro, friends of the groom, vocalists; and Mike Dunn of Wendell, friend of the groom, sound technician.
After a wedding trip to Rosemary Beach, Fla., the couple will reside in Pikeville.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Clayton High School. She is employed as a logistics account manager for Edgewater Services of Clayton.
The groom graduated from Faith Christian Academy in 1994, Southeastern Free Will Baptist College in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in education and Bob Jones University in 2002 with a master’s degree in education. He is employed as a field representative for the North Carolina Christian School Association.
Following the ceremony, the bride’s parents held a reception in the church fellowship hall. Linda Radford of Goldsboro and Amy Baumgartner of Pikeville, friends of the couple, served the wedding cake and Jamie Conlon and Tracie Riley of Goldsboro, friends of the couple, poured punch. Don and Jessica Clark of Goldsboro, friends of the couple, greeted guests. Paula Jones of Goldsboro, friend of the couple, was the coordinator.
On June 16, Lori Mosley and Carmen Anderon held a kitchen and pantry shower at Mt. Calvary Baptist Church of Clayton.
Amy Baumgartner, Jessica Clark and Sharon Coker held a lingerie shower May 24 at the Baumgartner home.
On April 26, ladies of Faith Free Will Baptist Church held a miscellaneous shower.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner in Faith Free Will Baptist Church fellowship hall. The couple chose this time to present gifts to their attendants.
