Ryan - Harry
BALD HEAD ISLAND — Lauren Regina Harry of Raleigh and Thomas Watson Ryan of Raleigh exchanged promises Sept. 18 at 5 p.m.
The Rev. Garrett E. Albertson officaited at the Village Chapel.
Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. George Guest Harry of Cary. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. B. Donald Harry of Cornelius, the late Mr. Harry, Kenneth L. Adams II of Fayetteville and the late Mr. Adams.
Parents of the groom are Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Ryan of Burlington. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Spicer of Goldsboro, Mrs. Jeremiah R. Ryan of Binghamton, N.Y., and the late Dr. Ryan.
The bride was given in marriage and escorted by her father.
Anna Harry and Sara Harry, sisters of the bride, were maids of honor. Bridesmaids were Mary Green Ryan, sister of the groom, Louise Wharton Hood, cousin of the groom, Alicia Terrell Woodcroft, Ginger Lea Poindexter and Lee Danise Rogerson.
Thomas Edward Ryan was his son’s best man. Groomsmen were Brian Nelson Efland, Jason Michael Saylors, William Thomas Faucette, Adam Michael Brakenbury, Parker Thomas Cooper, Gary Brent Jacques and James Andrew Allred.
Martha Hayworth directed the wedding. Presiding at the register was Dana Michelle Durbin. Katie Shearin Brown distributed progams.
A program of wedding music was provided by Concordia Strings Quartet.
After a wedding trip to Bald Head Island, the couple will reside in Raleigh.
The bride is a graduate of North Carolina State University with a bachelor of arts degree and George Washington Univesity with a master of arts degree. She is employed as assistant curator for exhibitions at the North Carolina Museum of Art.
The groom graduted from North Carolina State University with a bachelor of arts degree. He attends North Carolina State School of Architecture.
Following the ceremony, a reception was held at Harbour Pavilion.
The groom’s parents held a rehearsal dinner at Bald Head Island Club.
