Wayne Country Day prevailed in two singles matches and earned one doubles point during a 6-3, non-conference loss to Rocky Mount Academy on Wednesday afternoon.
Third-seeded Nancy Chen and fourth-seeded Diya Shreenath each won in singles.
The Chargers' Langley Barnes/Chen triumphed at No. 1 doubles.
Wayne Country Day (4-4 overall) entertains Freedom Christian today.
