PREP GIRLS' TENNIS: Spring Creek falls to East Duplin

BEAULAVILLE -- Amanda Haggerty factored into both points during Spring Creek's 7-2 loss against reigning East Central 2-A champion East Duplin on Tuesday afternoon.
Haggerty claimed the Gators' lone singles point. The junior returned later to team with senior Ivey Rouse for a victory at No. 1 doubles.
Spring Creek (1-1 overall, 0-1 ECC) return to action Sept. 13 at Goldsboro.
