PREP BOYS' SOCCER: Rosewood blanks Goldsboro

ERosewood extended its win streak to three with a 1-0 conquest of county rival Goldsboro at Branch Pope Field on Wednesday evening.
Noah Bates tallied the Eagles' lone goal off of an assist from Tyler Jordan.
Freshman goalie Benjamin Peacock earned the win between the pipes.
"He played well," RHS head coach Eddie Maldonado said of his keeper.
Rosewood (3-2-1 overall) travels to county rival Spring Creek next Wednesday.
The Cougars (0-5-0) endured their third shutout loss of the season. They entertain North Johnston next Tuesday.
