PREP BOYS' SOCCER: Saints fall to East Duplin

DUDLEY -- East Central 2-A powerhouse East Duplin handed Southern Wayne a 6-3, non-conference loss on the Doyle Whitfield Athletic Complex pitch Tuesday evening.
Luis Gutierrez scored twice for the Saints, who fell to 2-3-0 overall this season.
Andre Middleford provided one goal.
Southern Wayne faces James Kenan on Thursday.
