PREP VOLLEYBALL: Goldsboro turns back Southern Wayne

Riley Howell passed out 17 assists during Goldsboro's 25-23, 25-14, 25-22 triumph over Southern Wayne inside Norvell T. Lee Gymnasium on Monday evening.
The Cougars swept the two-game, regular-season series.
Senior libero Dakota Jones led the defense with seven digs.
Amber Pfennig collected four kills.
Alexus Elliott led the Saints with 12 kills, four aces and four blocks.
Abbey Parker had 15 assists.
Goldsboro (3-0 overall) visits Rosewood on Thursday, while the Saints play host to North Lenoir the same evening.
