PREP GIRLS' GOLF: WCDS wins 2nd meet of the season

Karsyn Roberts and Kelly Lewis shared medalist honors with a 41, and helped guide Wayne Country Day claim its second team victory of the season Tuesday afternoon.
Anna Reimers carded a 45 on the Goldsboro Municipal layout, which gave the Chargers a three-player score of 125 -- 25 strokes ahead of second-place Triton.
Boosted by Haley Narron's 48, North Johnston took third with a 152.
Savannah Strickland paced Charles B. Aycock with a 49. Adrian Floars filed a 60, while Taylor Smith chipped in with a 62. The Golden Falcons ended up with a 171 team total.
Goldsboro, led by Rylie Hales, turned in a 189. Rebecca Lanier concluded the nine-hole affair with a 66, followed by Mary Archibald with a 70. Teammates Erin Barnett and Giovanni Nelson each fired a 72.
Lexi Lewis (55) and Brianna Sutton (62) represented Rosewood.
Sydney Norris fashioned a 65 for Princeton.
