PREP GIRLS' TENNIS: DH Conley cruises past Eastern Wayne

Ava Bowen rallied from an opening-set loss and earned Eastern Wayne's lone point in an 8-1 loss to D.H. Conley on Tuesday.
It was the Eastern Carolina 3-A/4-A Conference opener for both teams.
Bowen, the No. 3 seed, fell 6-4 to the Vikings' Mary Beth Cole. She dominated the second 6-1 and pulled out a 10-8 win the super tiebreaker.
The Warriors (1-2 overall, 0-1 ECC) entertain New Bern on Thursday. First serve is 4 p.m.
