BEAULAVILLE -- Freshman Virginia Edmondson scored a game-high 21 points on Tuesday as Spring Creek fell to Midway in the first round of the East Central 2A girls' basketball tournament.
Belinda Carson also played well for the Lady Gators, finishing with a double-double -- 10 points and 10 rebounds.
Midway (22-1) was led by senior Leah Williams, who had 20 points, six assists and three steals.
Spring Creek finished its season with a 5-16 overall mark.
