FREMONT -- Norwayne capped a perfect season on Feb. 15 by turning back Greenwood, 31-23.
Camryn Ryan and Destiny Mason paved the way to victory with nine points apiece, while Bailey Wood scored six points. Mikayla Vernon rounded out the Cobra scorebook with four points.
Aniyah Monk scored 10 points for Greenwood, and TaHonnie Exum finished with five points.
The victory secured the 2017-2018 Wayne County Middle School Championship for Norwayne (13-0, 8-0 Division I), which repeated as champions for the second straight year.
