BURLINGTON -- Lexi Jeffreys finished with 13 points as Wayne Country Day suffered at the hands of the Burlington School on Saturday during the quarterfinals of the NCISSA 1A girls' basketball playoffs.
The loss arrived just two days after Jala Holloman (18 points, seven steals) and Lillian Freeman (13 points) led a waltz past second-round foe Greenfield.
Post-game on Saturday in Burlington, Jeffreys and Holloman were named to the NCISAA 1A All-State team.
Wayne Country Day finished its season with an overall record of 21-5.
