Jala Holloman scored 21 points to lead Wayne Country Day past rival Wayne Christian on Tuesday.
Lillian Freeman also factored prominently for the Lady Chargers, scoring 16 points. Lexi Jeffreys rounded out matters in the WCDS scorebook with a double-double -- 12 points and 14 rebounds.
"The girls game out and set the tone early," WCDS head coach David Flowers said. "We looked great in transition and this was one of the best games Lillian Freeman has played this year."
Guard Langley Barnes also played well, finishing the contest with seven steals and five assists.
Abie Harrelson paced Wayne Christian with 13 points. Madison Wells finished with seven points, while Adayah Ginn and Kasey Norris scored three apiece.
WCDS (13-3, 3-0) now sits atop the CPIC league standings, and plays host to John Paul II on Friday.
