DUDLEY -- Samiya Bess registered her third consecutive double-double -- 12 points and 10 rebounds -- as Southern Wayne cruised by North Lenoir on Monday evening.
Takeitha Glaspie also played well, scoring 9 points and hauling in 16 rebounds -- 11 on the offensive glass. Machiah Moore added six points and six rebounds.
The Lady Halos are now 2-1 on the season, and play host to Goldsboro tonight.
