Wayne Country Day sweeps Lawrence Academy

Wayne Country Day (3-1) outclassed visiting Lawrence Academy on Monday, scoring every player on its roster en route to a 88-38 victory.
The contest was the Chargers' final test until after Thanksgiving.
Jaden Cooper led a balanced effort from the point guard slot, scoring eight points.
He was joined in the red-and-blue runout by by Will McDonald, Cam Gerrard, Cooper Edmondson and Tanner Willman -- all of whom scored eight points apiece.

Junior forward Sherica Cox registered her first double-double of the season on Monday night -- a 10-point, 10-rebound effort -- as Wayne Country Day (4-0) breezed by Lawrence Academy in breakout fashion.
Jala Holloman also played well for the Lady Chargers, scoring 15 points and dishing five assists.

The duo of Bryan Harrison and Aaron Ward scored nine and eight points, respectively, to lead Wayne Country Day's rout of Lawrence Academy.
