Jala Holloman and Lexi Jeffreys both scored 16 points to lead Wayne Country Day past Ridgecroft, 50-20, on Thursday evening.
In a contest that was never in doubt, the hosts assumed a 35-3 halftime advantage.
Senior Lillian Freeman also played well for Wayne Country Day, filing eight points and six steals. Holloman also recorded six steals, while Jeffreys snared 10 rebounds.
"We jumped out quick and never looked back," WCDS head coach David Flowers said. "Very good ball pressure allowed for easy transition points... great game to start the season."
Country Day takes the floor again on Tuesday versus United Faith.
