Wayne Christian, Wayne Country Day earn playoff seeds

Wayne Country Day was awarded the fourth seed in the NCISAA soccer bracket on Sunday, and will enjoy a pair of byes prior to its quarterfinal match next Saturday.
The Chargers (16-3-0) are in the upper half of the bracket, and will face the winner of Kerr-Vance Academy and a first-round matchup between Woodlawn School (7-9) and The Burlington School (8-7-1).
Greenfield School (16-7-2), who defeated WCDS in for the CPIC tournament title last Thursday, is on the draw's bottom half.
Tennis
Four-time state champion Wayne Country Day School locked up the NCISAA's No. 1 seed in the upcoming dual-team state tournament.
The Chargers will begin their quest for a fifth consecutive title on Saturday versus The Burlington School, who finished the regular season with a 1-12 mark.
Volleyball
CPIC champion Wayne Christian (18-6) is the fourth seed in the upcoming NCISAA volleyball tournament.
The Lady Eagles, who were unblemished in league play this fall, will begin play on Saturday versus the winner of Hickory Christian Academy (14-5) and a matchup between Grace Christian (10-11) and University Christian (14-7).
Wayne Country Day emerged as the tournament's eighth seed, and will play the winner of Cresset Christian (10-6) and Community Christian School (6-10) on Thursday.
