Tennis --Princeton turns back North Duplin

MOUNT OLIVE -- Princeton moved to its overall record to 10-5 on Monday with an 8-1 triumph over Carolina 1-A opponent North Duplin at the University of Mount Olive.
The Bulldogs, led by Mackenzie Evans-Emily Shallington and Jasmine Rubio-Cailee Vetrano, claimed two of three doubles matches to set the tone for the affair's remainder.
Evans (8-0), Vetrano (8-1), Shallington (8-1), Rubio (8-2), Lauren Lawhon (8-3) and Brittany Creech (8-6) filed victories in singles play.
PHS finished the regular-season with a perfect mark of 6-0.
