Soccer --Rosewood, Hobbton collect wins

PRINCETON -- Rosewood scored a trio of goals in each half on Monday to turn back Carolina 1-A foe Princeton, 6-1.
Juan Bautista scored for the Bulldogs, who fell to 2-8 overall with the loss. Rosewood moved to 9-8 overall this season, and 7-3 in league play.

NEWTON GROVE -- Henry Silva scored North Duplin's lone goal on Monday in a Carolina 1-A showdown with Hobbton.
The loss moves the Rebels to 6-6-1 overall, and 4-6 in matters of league significance.
North Duplin next plays Rosewood on Wednesday.
